Tropic Isle Living Strong Roots Red Pimento Hair Growth Oil

If you’ve been following my Healthy Hair Journey here on the blog or on my YouTube channel, you’d know that this post is long overdue.  I mean I’ve only raved about the Tropic Isle Living Strong Roots Red Pimento Growth Oil in about every wash day or hair tutorial that I’ve done for just about a good year now.

The Tropic Isle growth oil is the perfect prepoo (before shampooing) treatment for every relaxed or natural hair rocker.  It’s used prior to shampooing your hair to stimulate blood flow and scalp circulation.  Strong Roots also helps to detoxify your hair from any buildup you’ve had since your last wash.  By stimulating the blood flow, it helps for your hair to accept any new products you apply to your hair and helps promote hair growth.  I feel once I started using the TIL Strong Roots Red Pimento Growth Oil my hair accepted the other good nutrients I was using a little better and aided in me retaining length.

Infused with two of my favorite oils, Jamaican Black Castor Oil & Organic Coconut Oil, the TIL Strong Roots Red Pimento Growth Oil is composed of all natural ingredients.  In addition to the aforementioned oils, the hair growth oil also contains Jamaican Red Pimento Oil; which is high in antioxidants that gives the detoxifying effect.  The last ingredient is Wheat Germ which you’ll find pretty common in a lot of haircare products.  Wheat Germ contains vitamins A, E and D which adds moisture to your hair in addition to also have the antioxidant properties.  It’s really just a bottle of goodness.

Either the day of or the night before wash day I will apply the oil to my scalp using the handy nozzle tip that makes application super easy.  I’d then go on to massage the oil into my scalp to get all that stimulation and begin to detox any product buildup.  The product glides down the shaft of my hair coating the hair and protecting it from being dried out during the wash process.

  • Good info, I’m such a lazy natural. If I find something that works I stick with it. I think I fear becoming a product junkie. Its almost like a drug.

I’ll have to look into this since I just did the big chop and it’s time I take good care of my hair.

  • Seems like a great product. I try to stick to the basics when it comes to my locks. However, I love learning products for natural hair. Thanks for sharing.
