Before I decided to start my New Year No Buy (*cough Low Buy) I was able to snag the Tartlette in Bloom palette from Tarte Cosmetics. This is the follow up to the original Tarlette palette that I was loving on last year.
Well let me tell you beauties, I am all here for this Tarlette in Bloom palette!!! Unlike the original, the Tartlette in Bloom palette provides more of a variety of eyeshadow textures. Yeah they still have the staple matte shades but they have mixed in some shimmer shades, one in each row actually. This gives the perfect options to use this palette for an all around eyeshadow look. Stay tuned to the end of the post for swatches of the entire palette.
I dabbled in the Tarlette in Bloom palette over the weekend (did you catch my post on Insta??) and came up with this look that I absolutely love. I am looking forward to creating many more looks featuring this palette. See the details below the picture for the full list of products used in my Filming Face of The Day. (I didn’t record this actual look but today’s video is a collaboration video with my girl Ashley that I’m super excited about. Make sure you’re subscribed over on the Kay’s Ways YouTube channel to this look in HD!!!)

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown (see full brow demo HERE )
Vegas Nay Grand Glamour Lashes (purchased from Ulta.com)
So have you picked up the Tarlette in Bloom palette? If not, you definitely should; the pigmentation is bomb (both with and without primer, I’m rocking it today and in my rush to get to work I totally forgot LOL). As I stated before you can create many looks with this palette for both day and night. If you’re looking for a new eyeshadow palette, I definitely suggest this one.
Not yet convinced? Here’s the swatches!!!
Do y’all see these colors though??? Mind you no primer was used, the pigmenation is awesome and the shadows are rather smooth. Some may end up a little powdery and I definitely experienced some fall out when I used Firecracker but it’s a good thing that I do my eyes first right?! The softness of the shadows just make for great blending.
What are your thoughts on the Tartlette in Bloom palette??? Chime in down below or as always…
Keep Up With Kay!!!
