Murad Rapid Relief Acne Spot Treatment | #SkincareSunday

I’m sure us girls can all relate to the monthly visitor that brings all the bumps to the yard.  That time of the month is always noticeable on my face with a blemish or two.

Ever wake up with a massive blemish right in the middle of your forehead?  Well that’s what happened to me.  So it was the perfect time to try out the Murad Rapid Relief Acne Spot Treatment that was sent over to me compliments from the brand.

Murad Rapid Relief Acne Spot Treatment | 4 Hour Check In

PUR Cosmetics

Now when I read the claims of the Murad Rapid Relief Acne Spot Treatment, that it reduces blemish redness AND size within 4 hours, I was a bit skeptical.  In the picture above you can see what the bump looked like before I applied the product (bottom right of collage).  The top photo in the collage is the check in I did at work about 3.5/4 hours after application.

Big difference right?!

This photo below shows how it looked after I cleansed my face that evening compared to how it looked that morning.

Murad Rapid Relief Acne Spot Treatment | Before & After

Ole Henriksen

As stated on their website, the Murad Rapid Relief Acne Spot Treatment contains 2% maximum strength salicylic acid as its active ingredient to “exfoliate, clear, balance and soothe skin to effectively treat breakouts quickly”.

You may know from previous Skincare Sunday posts, I have eczema.  The oat extracts this treatment contains are definitely a great benefit to that disorder.  That and the fact that it has water as the very first ingredient listed amazes me because I used to equate acne treatments with a more drying effect.  Even though alcohol is listed as the second ingredient, I don’t feel it has dried my skin out in any way.

Origins

Along the sides of my nose I have these tiny little bumps and when I apply the Murad Rapid Relief treatment to the area, shortly after the bumps are completely smoothed out.  It’s truly amazing so I will continue to use this for that purpose besides my monthly visitors.

The Murad Rapid Relief Spot Treatment pairs well with makeup without disrupting the application or wear and even helps clear pores and make your skin smoother.  Since it dries clear you can also definitely get away with wearing it without makeup for day and night wear as well.

Kendo - Kat Von D Beauty

The Murad Rapid Relief Spot Treatment retails at $22 (0.5 mL) for purchase at Sephora, Ulta Beauty, and of course on the Murad website.  They all take Ebates where you spend money and earn money at the same time!  Right now if you shop Murad online you’ll get 7% cash back!

This spot treatment is a part of a skincare regimen set that is currently on sale with an amazing deal for 5 products less than for the price of two!!!  If you are looking for acne-fighting skincare solutions, I highly suggest you check them out  because if this little gel does wonders like this I’m sure you’ll find something from the collection you love as well!

I’m already loving their Hydrating Toner so I’m happy to add another great product from Murad to my arsenal.

Do you have any Murad product recommendations?  Let me know down in the comments and as always
