Mo' Empties, Mo' Reviews

Mo’ Empties, Mo’ Reviews | Beauty Products I’ve Used Up

As a beauty addict, we  have the tendency to love stuff when it’s new and when we get the next new thing the one you once loved gets put on the back burner.  Next thing you get overwhelmed by the massive amount of stuff you have everywhere.  Sound familiar?

So if you’ve been here a while you know I’ve vowed to shop my stash to use up a lot of my products. I last shared my empties back in February so now here we are 4 months later with lots of new products I’ve used up.

Keep reading for the full breakdown of the skincare, makeup, hair care and fragrance products that I’ve finished in the last few months.  Also be sure to catch the Mo’ Empties, Mo’ Reviews video at the end of the post to hear my thoughts on some of items and find out if it’s something I’ll Rebuy or just Let it Fly.  (I say some because this video has been in editing limbo for some weeks now so anything I don’t talk about in the video, I’ll touch on in the post).

Now let’s get into these Beauty Empties shall we?

  • I love the Truth Serum and the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer too 🙂 #BLMGirl

  • Eva

I am a huge fan of serums. I think those are pretty much all that I use up quickly. Everything else takes forever because I don’t have anything besides the soap I bathe with and my lotion that I really use daily.

  • Kasi Perkins

Girl you have a lot of products!!! Lol! I love the St. Ives as well, and I think I’ve been using it since high school too, lol! I want to try the Sephora concealer, and I want to try the Alikay products. I’ve been waiting for the Alikay to go on a slight sale because it’s a little bit pricier than my normal natural hair product go tos.

  • I have been wanting to try the Alikay products for a while now. I’ve tried saving up my empties but don’t have any room for all my bottles lol.

  • I’ve been getting so many new products it’s so hard to empty the ones I have since I have to do videos and reviews. It’s happening slowly, but it’s happening. Good luck.

  • Tia @ financiallyfitandfab

I hear that apricot scrub is awesome! I use many of those same hair products religiously. Eco styler gel is a staple for almost all of my styles. I typically mix it with other moisturizing products for added hold.

  • Donna Shana

Ok, yas! I am loving this series. Your empties- that is a great sign. Thanks for sharing!!

  • Love reading posts like these!!! I’ve been looking for a new primer so I’ll definitely have to try the Hourglass one.

  • You have a lot of my favorites up there. That They’re Real Mascara tho!! Bomb. I’m so mad I misplaced mine yesterday and have been tearing up my place looking for it lol. I had to chill on that St. Ives Apricot mask a few yrs back but we used to be bae. How did you like the Photofocus Setting Spray? Love, Love, Love this post.

  • Those Alikay natural products are some of my favs. They smell Oh-mazing and worth every bit of the price!

  • I’ve tried some of the products you’ve mentioned. I’m always amazed how much you use up. I’m getting of sticking to what works and forgetting about the other items in my stash.

  • The St. Ives scrub is a staple in our house. My husband uses it too. Shhh don’t tell nobody! LOL

  • St. Ives facial products have been around forever. I love the variety of scents they have.

  • Wow! So many things to take in. I have a few of these products. I look forward to hearing about the scents. I’m looking for a summer refreshing fragrance.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • I will be honest I never got into the empties trend. I have been trying for 2016 to be more of a mininalist with products and less of a junkie because I have an over abundance of stuff. Seriously I dont need no more new hair products to try so I can even get those empty…so I am gonna figure out a way to give it away to a good cause.
