Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette

I just LIVE for a good highlight!!!  So last year during Sephora’s Friends and Family sale I picked up the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette.  I am soooo happy I’ve made this purchase!  When I tell you it gives you the best lighting in every situation.  I often get compliments when I am wearing any of the powders (Rose this is some good stuff right?! 😉

The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette was initially an exclusive palette that was out for the holidays.  It was a play off their best-selling Ambient Lighting Powders.  If you were to purchase the individual powders (.35 oz) it would run you $45.  To me the better value here was to get the three shade options offered in the palette for only $58!!!  Sure you’ll get less of each shade (.116 oz) but come on you have three Ambient Lighting powders in this gorgeous packaging!!!

The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette includes two shades from the permanent Hourglass offerings, Dim Light and my favorite Radiant Light.  The shade in the middle, Incandescent Light, is exclusive to this palette.  These finishing powders just make your whole look come together and play with the way the light reflects against your complexion.  Harsh lighting is filtered out and the Ambient Lighting powders just highlights a flawless complexion or at least give you the illusion of having one.

Natural Lighting tho,,,,

When highlighting I like to use either Dim Light or Incandescent Light.  I place it on the top of my cheekbones, the center of my forehead, down the bridge of my nose, cupids bow and my chin.  Now Radiant Light is my absolute favorite from the palette.  For my skin tone it’s a great all over powder that just pulls your whole look together when used as a final setting powder.

There are no shimmers when applied to your face so you don’t walk around looking like a disco ball.  The Ambient Lighting Powders give you more of an inner glow so it just illuminates your complexion.  The powders are so finely milled and makes for a smooth application without a whole lot of fall out and clean up.

I’ve been using this palette for almost a year now and I still have tons of product left.  As you can see in my photos i have plenty of this amazing product left to enjoy for plenty of time so I believe for what it does and how long it will last I have made an excellent investment.  If you don’t mind going HAM in Sephora as I do at times then definitely check this
product out next time you go in stores or you can view more product information about it here.

I use these powders all the time and they’re included in a few videos on the Kay’s Ways Channel.  It has repeatedly been featured in Kay’s Faves. Also don’t worry, I will have a full demo video specifically for this palette so definitely subscribe so you don’t miss out on the future post!  You can always be sure to check back to the blog as well and I will update this post with the demonstration.

I’ve had Dim Light for a long time but I just can’t get to the ‘love it stage. I’m gonna definitely get the Radiant one next time there’s a sale 😉
