The key to a healthy hair journey is having a good haircare regimen. I’m here to share with you the basic things you will need to get yourself on the road to a successful healthy hair journey.

Use a clarifying shampoo every 4-6 weeks to remove product buildup from your hair.
Gentle enough to be used weekly and provides your hair the moisture it needs to thrive. A sulfate free shampoo will make sure your hair is not stripped from all its moisture but still clean so it can accept the products you apply.

Pamper your tresses with a great deep conditioner that will lock in moisture and make your hair more manageable.

Every now and again your hair requires protein, some more frequently than others (more is usually the case for my relaxed hair girls). Use a protein treatment to bring back balance to your hair to make it stronger and less likely to break off. I suggest one every 4-6 weeks.

Leave in Conditioner
Usually also infused with a light protein of some sort, combines moisturizing and strengthening qualities that will help prepare your hair for styling and aid in detangling.

From scalp massages to being used as a sealant to lock in the moisture from your leave in conditioner, natural oils promote healthy hair growth.
Keeping your hair moisturized makes it less likely to break off in order to retain length, Dry, brittle hair is a no no!

I have tried many haircare products through my hair journey, some worked and some didn’t. Please keep in mind the suggested items are products that have worked for my hair. Of course you will have to try things out for yourself to see what works for yours.
