Caudalie VinoSource S.O.S. Thirst Quenching Serum

I’m currently on my 2nd bottle of the Caudalie VinoSource S.O.S. Thirst Quenching Serum.  It’s about time we talk about it here on the blog right?!

It’s true, using a serum is one of the most crucial steps in a skincare routine.  With a serum being the thinnest consistency of concentrated ingredients, it absorbs into the skin and has the most treatment impact.

There are various types of serums to combat different skincare concerns; there’s vitamin C serums to brighten, recovery and repairing serums, firming, lifting and anti-aging serums.  If you have a skincare concern, it’s best to research what’s best for your skin type.

As you should know from previous #SkincareSunday posts here, I have dry skin so an important part of m skincare regimen is to continuously add moisture to it.  For that reason, the Caudalie VinoSource S.O.S. Thirst Quenching Serum plays a major part in my skincare routine.  As I mentioned in my haul video when I bought the second bottle, my skin truly missed it for the few weeks I went without it.  I’m sure I even raved about it in one of my Beauty Empties posts as well.

Caudalie products are infused with an exclusive organic grape water that helps the skin retain moisture over time. Their patented grape-seed polyphenols provides protection from environmental free radicals and UV rays to aid in preventing wrinkles.

The Caudalie VinoSource S.O.S. Thirst Quenching Serum absorbs so nicely into the skin leaving behind soft, hydrated skin.  There were even times when I forgot if I applied my moisturizer or not.

It’s formulated for normal, dry, combination and sensitive skin types so I believe many people can benefit from this Caudalie serum.  Even though it’s not meant for oily skin types, my homegirl is an oily girl and she even uses it since it is oil-free.  Hell everyone can use some moisturization in their life, right?!  Caudalie VinoSource S.O.S. Thirst Quenching Serum is definitely worth a try so if you can, go to Sephora and grab you a sample!

It’s hypoallergenic, noncomedogenic and formulated without parabens, sulfates and Phthalates so none of the bad stuff for our skin is included!  One pump of the product is the perfect amount for application on the face & neck.

It is a product I feel that you must continue to use in order to reap the benefits but thankfully I have it back in my routine again.  For $49 I think it’s well worth it but I am still on the hunt for a serum that has multiple skincare benefits since I am still currently using this in addition to my Ole Henriksen Truth Serum.

 Ole Henriksen

Actually, there’s this $185 skincare serum (that’s not a serum, it’s an oil but it acts like a serum – it’s really cool) that I’ve had my eye on for a few months now thanks to Stephanie Nicole.  I’m trying to act like I’m not about that life but honestly for skincare I think it’s worth it, especially if it works!

Do you currently use a skincare serum?  I’d love to hear some suggestion to some to try out!  Let’s talk about it in the comments or as always you can come chop it up with me on social media.

  • I’m kind of addicted to skincare now. I got one of the serums for my birthday gift and want to buy the full size. Didn’t know Caudalie had such good products. The elf serum works well too.

This serum is so worth the price. I used a cleanser from elf that was nice. I need to explore more from their skincare too. You know I’m always down for beauty on a budget

  • This doesn’t sound too bad at all! I actually like the sound of some of ingredients. I may have to try a sample of this soon! Right now, I’m using the Bare Minerals Brilliant Future serum and I like it a lot. It’s nicely hydrating and gives me a good glow. I’m curious to try this one though. I’ve heard a lot of good things about their products

I want to try Bare Minerals skincare this one is hydrating but doesn’t give such a glow. The Caudalie spray & moisturizer is cool but I still haven’t decided if it’s worth the price, this way my all star out the bunch lol
